What is the ResellerBackup tool?
It is an easy to use tool that allows to backup your files when and where you choose too.

What platforms will ResellerBackup work on?
ResellerBackup works on Windows 95, 98, ME, XP, NT, 2000, 2002.

Is there a trial version?
Yes you can download the trial version here.

What space requirements do I need to use ResellerBackup?
You will need at minimum the same amount of space you use for your sites.

How many accounts can I backup using ResellerBackup?
We do not limit the amount of accounts you can backup using the tool.

Will ResellerBackup backup my mail files?
This depends on the control panel you have. For example if you are using cPanel all your mail can be downloaded for backup.

How does ResellerBackup store the files on my hard drive?
The files are stored in a .zip for each connection you make.

Does ResellerBackup restore my files?
The tool at this point does not restore your files it just places a backup on your local machine at which time you can FTP them up to your own server.

Do I have to do nightly backups or can I do weekly instead?
You can choose to do backups every 1 - 60 days.

What happens if the server goes down during my backups?
Your backups that you have would be from the last possible backup ResellerBackup could make. ResellerBackup would attempt to start again at the next interval.

What if I am having troubles with ResellerBackup?

How can I pay for ResellerBackup?
Currently we only accept PayPal and Credit Card for ResellerBackup.

What are the dimensions for of the picture used for branding?
The branding must be a GIF with the exact size of 448 x 50.

What if I decided to change my branding do I have to pay again?
If you choose to change the branding then you do have to pay again.

What if I want to customize the ResellerBackup more?

How does the licensing work with purchasing the branded host version?
We do not limit the number of clients you can provide the tool too. You can choose to provide it to your customer as a free tool or a paid tool. We leave that option up to you.

Who provides support to our customers if they have issues with the tool?
You would provide a first level of support to your customers and any issue you were not able to resolve you can have our staff at support@resellerbackup.com look into.

I get an error that says it requires MSVCRT.dll and/or MFC71.dll?
These are common dll's if you do not have them installed you can download them here, decompress it into a temporary location, move the resulting DLL to the system directory under your windows directory (c:\windows\system32 on most computers), and delete the zip file. You can download  MSVCRT.dll and/or MFC71.dll here.

How do I just backup my site public_html files in cPanel?
Login to cPanel and choose Manage Accounts under FTP.
Click Add FTP Account
Type in a login name, password
Directory set as /
Click on Create

In the ResellerBackup Tool do the following:
Give the new connection a Name
For Host use the IP
Use the login name (as above) and password.

Note: cPanel uses username@yourdomain.com
